The fossil fuel industry is coming to Adelaide for a flagship oil and gas conference. The state government, who only recently declared a climate emergency, is a Principal Partner for the event.

We, as people of good conscience, are stepping into our climate courage to blockade this event. If you are worried about the climate and ecological crisis then join us in direct resistance against those fueling the harm.

Together the climate movement successfully pressured the South Australian government to declare a climate emergency. Now it’s time to turn out in numbers to show that the fossil fuel industry is not welcome here.

We welcome you to take action with us and to provide input about the tactics that we engage with throughout the conference. There will be space for different types of actions. So whether this is your first protest or you’re an experienced activist please join with us in love and rage as we take action together.

Meet at the southern end of Adelaide Oval Footbridge at 7:30am for a briefing. Following the briefing we will be moving into action. Follow our social media accounts throughout the day for updates.

Please bring water, snacks, weather protection and comfortable clothing.
